MESSAGE TO MAN

This message is for all human beings regardless of their caste, creed, color, language, dress and nationality. The message of truth, love, light and universal brotherhood was expounded by the messengers of God from time to time.

1. Whenever there is degeneration in society and human values are lost, God appears on earth in human form to wipe out evil, to establish truth, to dispel darkness and to disseminate divine knowledge among people all over the world. This message is enshrined in all the holy Scriptures and the same is being reiterated by the present Preceptor even today.

2. Man is the crown of the Creation. All other species, animals, birds, mammals, insects and reptiles, are of lower nature and meant only to serve the mankind. Man and animals have some common features but man has the rare distinction of possessing the intellect, vision and the faculty, with which he can distinguish between the right and the wrong, the true and the false, and choose for him the path of truth and righteousness as against that of evil mindedness.

“Sleep, intake of food, procreation and fear psychosis are features common to man and animals alike;    Divine knowledge is the only distinction with man, which makes him superior to the entire animal world.”

3. Man is basically divine, a spiritual entity, having been created by God in his own image. Every human being is a combination of “matter” (physical self) and the “Spirit” (Soul). The matter consists of five elements i.e. the earth, the water, the fire, the air and the ether (Sound), while the sixth vital component is the Spirit (Soul).

Unfortunately, the man oblivious of God, the Creator, the Sustainer and the great Giver of all bounties, get entangled in the fascinating mire of materialism. Forgetting his real self, man considers “Eat, drink and be merry” as the goal of life. But this is not true,

“ The irony is that what men considers
   himself to be,
   he is not, and what he really is,
   he knows not. ”

4. Man, motivated by animal instinct, is driven to evil-doing, meting uncivil, brutal, and inhuman behavior to others. Wearing human cloak, man behaves like a beast causing death and destruction, breaking human dwellings, indulges in war and violence and sows seeds of disintegration everywhere for the sake of pelf, power and selfish gains.

Though basically divine, Man forgets his true self and God, the Creator and Sustainer of whole universe and all living beings. Born and brought up in the World, of materialism, Man remains stuck up with it throughout his life, unto his last. He is so much engulfed in materialistic pursuits that he has no time to stand and stare. He looks before and after and pines for what is not. He ignores the Voice of Truth and does not care to know and achieve the purpose of this precious human life. He knows not where from he has come, and whereto he shall go on the day he departs from this world.

The saints tell the people of the world that the prime aim of the human life is to know God, the Creator and Sustainer of life. It is only during human life span that one can know the Divine Secret and realize the omnipresent formless spirit of God. They also bring home the fact that it is no use amassing name, fame, power and wealth, as none of these possessions, and assets, not even a needle, shall go with the man at the time of his demise from this world. In the Holy Bible this aspect has been clarified thus:-

“ For what shall it profit a man
   if he shall gain the whole world,
   and lose his own soul. ”

5. Man tries to find peace through material objects, which provide only physical comfort and that too for a short while. Thereafter he feels thirsty, hungry and lustful as ever. The saints and sages say that, “As one earns more and spends more, the craze for more and more grows and grows and there is no end to lust of the mind.” Peace can not be found in material and transitory objects. It can be had only through self-realisation, through knowledge of God- the Ocean of peace, love, light and prosperity. By attaining knowledge of Supreme Being and by establishing constant communion and eternal link with God Almighty, one can attain everlasting peace, bliss and salvation. There is no other way out.

“ He that heareth my word and believeth on
   him that sent me has everlasting life and
   will never be damned for his sins, but
   has passed out of death into life. ”

“ Peace does not lie in accumulating wealth,
  Peace does not lie in watching the dramas,
  dance and songs.
  Peace does not lie in earning money in
  All peace lies in knowing and remembering God. ”

6. There are two types of people in this world; those who believe and worship God and those who are non-believers. Among the believers again most people worship God without knowing Him. A few know God and worship him. This concept has been nicely depicted in the Holy Bible:-

“ Ye worship Ye know not what;
   we know that we worship;
   God is a spirit, and they that worship him must
   worship him in spirit and in truth. ”

7. The law of the kingdom of God is that there can be no peace without God and no Divine Knowledge can be attained without the benign grace of the True Master.

“ For by grace are you saved through faith,
   not of yourselves;
   it is the gift of God, not of works,
   lest any man should boast. ”

8. True Master is a must in the process of God-realisation. One needs a teacher, a guide for knowing and understanding any person, palace and environment. Likewise, knowledge of God can be had only through the guidance of the True Master (SATGURU). A seeker has to approach the True Master to receive the divine light, to know the eternal TRUTH, and to perceive the all pervading omniscient, omnipotent God.

The unique quality of the True Master is that does not take into account ones past faults, follies and   sins and unites the soul with Super Soul (God).

“ Let no one in the world remain in delusion
  That it could ever be possible to cross the ocean
  of materialism without the Guru. ”

“ Between the Guru and God, I prefer and pro sate
   myself before the Guru, for he revealed the
   omnipresent God unto me. ”

9. A man of God attains peace, bliss and salvation and rises aloft barriers and bond ages, rites and rituals omens and superstitions, feels the presence of God with him, performs righteous acts and leads a happy, contented, noble and pious life. A man of God wishes well of others and does good to one and all seeing the Divinity in all objects and persons. Crossing all geographical and socio-cultural boundaries and barricades, he considers whole mankind as one Family and all human beings as children of the same Father and as flowers of different colors and fragrance in this beautiful garden (world), confides in and preaches the concept of one God, one Religion, and Universal Brotherhood.

“ Even if hundreds of moons shine and
thousands of Suns rise, there still
would be complete darkness without the
light of the Guru (TRUE MASTER). ”

Divine knowledge transmutes the man with animal instinct to a true human being; and elevates him to the position of an angel. Selfless service to mankind is the motto of every enlightened person and such blessed ones enjoy peace, bliss and salvation during life time.

10. Without Divine knowledge, man's life remains incomplete, barren, and a mere waste. Saints have rightly compared the life of a man without God to an autumn tree, which has no leaves, and bears no fruit; to a flower without fragrance; to a stream without water; to a bird without wings; and to a women without her man. Such a life is, indeed, listless, meaningless and worthless.

“ To be carnally minded is death,
To be spiritually minded is life and peace. ”

11. Dear friends, human life provides a golden opportunity to know God, to love him and to serve the mankind to be in heaven for ever and ever.

True Master's message for every human being is “Know the One, repose faith in Him and be united.”

12. Fortunately, the True Master NIRANKARI BABA JI is amidst you in your own country. Please do not miss this golden chance to “Know God Ye Worship.” No change, conversion or time lag is involved in the process of God-realisation. You can realize the truth enshrined in the Holy Scriptures in no time with the grace of the Divine Master. After knowing God, you would become a true Hindu, a true Christian, a true Mohammedan, a true such and above all a true human being.

“ If you know Him within this life, then it is good;
But if you do not know Him, then it will be your
greatest loss. ”

“ O man, you got this human birth,
this provides the opportunity to get united with God;
All other acts done by you are of no avail,
Attain Divine knowledge in the company of saints. ”

If you lose the game of life for the sake of coweries (material pleasures), you shall bewail and repent at last, but all in vain.
